Andrew C. Hoot, MD

Dr. Hoot, board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, joined  APG as an associate in July 2004 and has been a partner since July 2008. Following completion of Pathology training at UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School, where he also served as Chief Resident, and the University of Missouri - Columbia, he spent two years at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia studying pediatric and perinatal pathology. Prior to pathology, Dr.Hoot, a 1987 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, had completed training in Internal Medicine, as well as an internship in General Surgery.  He practiced Internal Medicine for the USPHS- Indian Health Service in Arizona, as well as Emergency Medicine in rural Missouri.  Dr.Hoot is currently affiliated with the Potter-Randall Medical Society and theTexas Medical Association, and is a Fellow and Inspector in the College of American Pathologists.
