William A. Carroll, MD

Dr. William Carroll joined APG as a staff pathologist in July of 2004 and became a partner in 2008.

Dr. Carroll received his undergraduate degree in Clinical Lab Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 1994.  He went on to attend the University of South Alabama, College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama where he earned his Medical Degree in 1999.  Dr. Carroll completed his Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency as well as his Surgical Pathology fellowship at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in 2004.

Dr. Carroll holds a medical license in both Texas and Arizona.  He is an appointed staff member at Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital, Northwest Texas Hospital, and Baptist St. Anthony’s Panhandle Surgery Center.  He also serves a consulting staff at the VA medical Center, the Dumas Memorial Hospital, and the Hereford Regional Medical Center. He is currently the Medical Director of the Hansford County Hospital Laboratory as well as the Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic Laboratory.

Dr. Carroll is a member of the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and the Potter-Randall County Medical Society. The American Board of Pathology also certifies Dr. Carroll in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as a Diplomat.
