Daniel L. Schneider, MD

Dr. Daniel Schneider joined Amarillo Pathology Group in 2006 as a staff pathologist.

He majored in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and received his M.D. from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2000.  He went on to pursue his Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at the University of Arkansas, and served as the Chief Resident while there.  Dr. Schneider then obtained Hematopathology, and, subsequently, Surgical Pathology, fellowship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, completing his training in June of 2006 before joining APG.

Dr. Schneider holds active medical licenses in both Arkansas and Texas. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Hematology, and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.  Additionally, he currently serves on the Pathology Committee of the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG), and is a member of the Texas Medical Society, and the College of American Pathologists.

Dr. Schneider’s professional interests include hematopathology, gynecologic tumor pathology, and medical informatics.
