Mashuk Chowdhury, CPA Administrator

Mashuk R. Chowdhury has been with APG &PPL since 1999 and became the administrative partner for PPL in 2006. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration cum laude from West Texas A&M University in 1991 and has been a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1995 and of Medical Group Practice Management Association since 1997. 

Mashuk began his professional career as an auditor for healthcare entities at KPMG Peat Marwick, a big-five accounting and consulting firm.  He also worked as a reimbursement analyst for North West Texas Healthcare System, coordinating Medicare, Medicaid, and other governmental reimbursement programs.

In 1996 Mr. Chowdhury founded New Horizon Physician Practice Management, Inc to serve the growing needs of physician’s practices in Amarillo and the surrounding communities.

As the administrator for both APG & PPL, Mashuk provides his leadership and expertise in marketing, client relations, team building, strategic planning, contract negotiations, information technology and third-party reimbursement.
